hoo is amazing....one of my favorites...
bally hoo is one of the many great places on la isla....
...lost count how many times we have been there...great place to hang
while waiting for folks to arrive on the ferry...
or a nice lazy lunch...
or a nice lazy dinner...
by the way, their habanero is home-made and amazing...will melt your lips
unless you are a professional....
i tell anyone i can if they get one meal, go to bally hoo...although
hidden behind the gas station, it is a diamond in the rough....
they put up a new canopy that kinda sorta blocks your view of the
water...and the sunset at sunsetting time...kind of a bummer...
but who am i to complain...holy cow...amazing food with great music and
reasonable prices while enjoying a tropical breeze with good service and a
view of the amazing water, boats, folks and sunshine...complete with a
marina full of yachts owned by folks that have more money than i do....
geez..some people are hard to please...maybe i am one of them...but anyone
that misses out on bally hoo misses out...period...
for those of you that enjoy conversation with your meal instead of
contrived mayan fire dancers and one-man-bands-singing-beatles-songs, go
straight to bally hoo...
a truly isla experience...
