The beach below is both rocky and sandy...and since it is fairly secluded, it is a GREAT spot for shelling and sea glass.
When the sea is calm, you can snorkel or swim, but water shoes are necessary...although some days it is not possible with a rough surf.
On a calm day, it is gorgeous, fun, safe and close! we have beach chairs you can take with you and just hang out for a while.
This ladder is located next door to the south of the house.
And it is 100% OK for any of our guests to use.
Please be careful!!!

"You access the beach from a ladder that is two doors down. At first, it appears like it might be difficult to get down it safely, but in reality it is very sturdy, is anchored to the wall, and MUCH easier to scale it up and down, than it appears! It is SO worth going down there. So many shells and tons of sea glass on the beach below. We brought home 2 half-full gallon ziplock bags of sea glass!"
