We are often asked "How do we get to the beach below the house?" in the past the answer was simple...but now it is a long story... The beach below is both rocky and sandy. Folks can snorkel, swim or go shelling. The beach is fairly secluded since access to the beach is limited.
We swim and snorkel on the beach below, although some days it is not possible with a rough surf. On a calm day, it is gorgeous, fun, safe and close! We have beach chairs for your use upon request. Unfortunately, the access we had to the beach was located next door and that ladder to the beach was the best way to get up and down from the beach. We do not have access to the beach directly from Casa Roca Caribe for several important reasons: 1) safety and security of our guests is a high priority for us! we do now want to give access to the back deck of he Main Pool Level to the bad guys. B) the only access would be from the Main Pool Level and our guests staying in the Upper Jacuzzi Level would not have access to the back deck of the Main Pool Level...we feel the privacy of our guests on both levels is very important. iii) it is not legal to build any structure in the Federal Zone (basically the beach)...and we are gringos and in Mexico the world works a little differently...we would not be allowed to build a ladder such as the one shown below... The information posted below is the info we had posted on our website previously and we are trying to find a very similar way to access the beach. Currently, the best way to access the beach is to walk south and go PAST Villa Bella (please do not ask to access the beach thru their property, they are very interested in utilizing their property for their guests and that is completely understandable. more information will be posted here as soon as we possibly can... muchas thank you! ---------------------------------------
please note this ladder is NOT ACCESSIBLE at this time...this is only posted here to show how we were able to access the beach earlier:
The pics below should give you an idea of how we get down to the beach. The ladder is located next door to us.
Since we are on a cliff, we have spectacular views of the Caribbean and the beach below.
